IEPF Claims & Refunds

Recover shares and dividends transferred to the Government (IEPF Authority).

What is IEPF?

When dividends remain unclaimed for 7 consecutive years, the shares and the accumulated dividends are transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) Authority by the company. To get them back, you must file a claim with the IEPF Authority.

Our Role

We manage the complex and lengthy process of claiming your assets back from the government fund.

  • Filing of Form IEPF-5 online
  • Preparation of physical dossier for submission
  • Coordination with the Nodal Officer of the company
  • Responding to resubmission queries raised by IEPF Authority

Why it is difficult

IEPF claims are strict about documentation. A single mismatch in name or signature, or a missing document, can lead to rejection or a request for resubmission, restarting the cycle.

Our Process

01
Verification: We verify if your shares are indeed in IEPF.
02
Filing: We file the online claim (Form IEPF-5).
03
Submission: We prepare the physical file as per strict guidelines and send it to the company.
04
Approval: The company verifies and sends a report to IEPF. IEPF then approves and releases the shares.
